Manvel Omar Hopes grew up in Bay City, Texas and attended Bay City High School. He graduated in 1991 and received a full Academic/Athletic Scholarship to Texas Christian University (TCU). In 1996, Manvel received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. While at TCU, he developed a great sense of character and mastered the skill of teamwork/dedication. He received several sports and leadership awards including being Team Captain, All-State 4A DB, Track State Champion, TCU Football 3 Year Letterman, Most Improved Defensive Player, SWC Co-Champion and Independence Bowl participant.
His professional career path began in education/sports where he was a Middle School Teacher and Coach (Football/Track) in Fort Bend ISD. After several successful years in education, he pursued a career change within the computer industry and graduated from CLC (systems/network administration).
Manvel is known for a strong work ethic, problem solving skills and being a great teammate.
